In the Calatrava street, like in others in Madrid, there still are some shops where churros are being sold. Grease can be seen and felt.

Quizás no exista nada más popular en las calles de Nueva York que sus típicos puestos de comida callejera.
Su calidad varía mucho, además de su diversidad, pero los estándares de calidad son bastante altos para lo que podríamos pensar.
Aquí quise reflejar el interés de un padre y su hijo a la espera de su pedido, que se convierten en el centro de un universo donde confluyen todos los deseos.

There is nothing as popular as the street food stalls on the streets of New York. Their quality varies greatly, in addiction to its diversity, but the quality standards are pretty much higher than you might think.
Here I wanted to reflect the interest of a father and his son waiting for their order. They become the center of a universe where all wishes converge.

Bamberg es una joya que no sucumbió en la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Lo que siempre nos hemos imaginado como una ciudad de cuento, está en esta bella ciudad.

A sunset. A canal. A special city.
Bamberg is a jewel that did not succumb to WWII.
What we have always imagined as a fairy tail town is here in this beautiful city.

En Munich, en el antiguo distrito del Partido Nazi, tomé esta instantánea del único panel que muestra información en todo la zona. El niño devorado por las llamas de los libros quemados, o abducido por la visión. La segunda persona que se esconde tras el panel, ¿es quién arrastra de él?
Todo esto sirve al caso de la Memoria. ¿Eliminarla o enseñar a no caer en el error?

In Munich, in the former district of the NSDAP, I took this snapshot of the only panel displayed of the place.
The kid consumed by the flames of the books bonfire, or kidnapped by the vision of it. The second person hidden, is the one who carries him away? All this serves to Historical Remembrance, to get rid of it or to teach about it in order not to make the same mistake?

En El Campello existen muchos lugares hermosos y espectaculares. Este es el caso del paraje conocido la cueva del Lobo Marino plagado de historias de tesoros y piratas.
Disfruté de unos saltos locos realizados por unos jóvenes de la zona. Alucinantes.

There are a lot of spectacular and beautiful places in El Campello. This is the case of the site known as Lobo Marino cave filled with stories of treasures and pirates. I enjoyed some crazy jumps by youngsters. Awesome.

En el segundo día de la Ofrenda en las Fiestas de San Juan, niños y mayores recorren la ciudad de Alicante para depositar sus flores en la concatedral de San Nicolás. En muchos de los pequeños se refleja en el rostro la importancia de este evento para su comunidad.

In the second day of the Floral Tribute in the Festivity of San Juan, kids and adults parade the streets of Alicante to offer their flowers to the Virgin in the church of San Nicolás. Kids faces reflect the importance of the event in their community.

Desde la cueva del Lobo Marino en Campello, Alicante pude disfrutar de mi primer amanecer junto al mar.
Una bellísima experiencia, rodeada de paz y colores. Pidiendo que no terminara nunca.

From the Lobo Marino cave in El Capello, Alicante I could enjoy of my first sunrise beside the sea. A lovely experience, surrounded by peace and colours. Wishing it would never end.

Este tipo de escaleras me fascinan. La regularidad, la simetría que dibujan en mi cerebro siempre me ha gustado. Hay muy buenos ejemplos de este tipo de construcción (sin ir más lejos en Alcalá de Henares), pero en este caso se corresponde a 'The Monument' en la City de Londres.

This kind of staircases fascinates me. I always liked the regularity, the simetry they draw into my brain. There are very good examples of this kind of construction (without going further) in Alcalá de Henares), but in this case is 'The Monument' in City of London.

En estos momentos que estamos pasando tanto frío, he recordado nuestro "extravío" por Brooklyn debido a la tempestad de nieve que pudimos disfrutar.
Una verdadera delicia poder vivir esos momentos de tranquilidad y silencio de esta gran ciudad.

In these days when we are so cold, I have remembered our wandering walk in Brooklyn due to a snowstorm that we enjoyed.
A real pleasure to live those moments of tranquility and silence of this great city.

Estas callejuelas frescas y limpias son una verdadera delicia para perderse sin necesidad de mirar el reloj. Se siente la calma en ellas, alejadas del bullicio de los lugares más turísticos.

These fresh and clean streets are a delight to get lost without watching the clock. It feels calm in them, away from the hubbub of tourist sites.

Los jardines del Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos se pueden llegar a disfrutar incluso en invierno. Algunas palmeras por su porte casi nos pueden hablar de todo lo que presenciaron.

The historic gardens of  The Alcazar of The Christian Monarchs can be enjoyed even in the winter. Some palm trees can tell us about everything they saw.

La pareja del leones del Congreso de los Diputados en Madrid, quizás no sea tan famosa como los cuatro leones del Trafalgar Square, por poner un ejemplo, pero su calidad artística es innegable. El trabajo del pelaje del león es fantástico. Fueron el remate de una bonita tarde fotográfica de Reyes.

The pair of lions at The Congress in Madrid, may not be as famous as the four lions at Trafalgar Square, for instance, but their artistic quality is undeniable. This lion's fur is fantastic. It was a happy end to a nice photographic evening in Epiphany.

Si hubiesen existido cámaras y paparazzi en el S. XVII, ésta hubiese sido mi visión "voyeurística" del Maestro de Maestros. Observar con curiosidad el momento de su próxima pincelada.
Shhh… cuidado no vayamos a ser descubiertos.

If cameras and paparazzi had existed in 17th Century, this would have been my "voyeuristic" vision of the Master of Masters. Watching with curiosity the moment of his next brushstroke. Shhh, Don't disturb him.
